In 6th grade, Johnny Rawten was mean, lazy and just plain rotten. However, Johnny discovered that he had the ability to time travel back to the ancient worlds that he was learning about in school. Johnny traveled to the Stone Age, Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt, Ancient India, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, and the Medieval Times. Throughout his travels, Johnny begins a self-transformation that was brought on through the experiences he had in each ancient world. He witnessed how tough the ancient people had it and realized how lucky he was to be in his world. He also met Buddha, who taught him respect for self and others. Johnny did and saw many thing that he will carry with him forever. However, the one thing that will stick with him the most happened in Ancient Rome, when Johnny found himself face to face with a crazed, blood thirsty tiger in a fight to the death in the Colosseum. Having no choice, Johnny picked up his sword and after an epic battle, ended the tiger’s life. As the slain tiger toppled over onto the dusty floor of the arena, Johnny looked at his hands and wondered what he had done…
Johnny returned home from his last ancient world, the Medieval Times, after escaping death for what seemed like the one hundredth time. He was a changed person. No longer disrespectful and mean, he vowed to change his ways and be a good person. However, as time passed, Johnny slid into despair, wishing desperately for one more chance at time-traveling and was racked with guilt of having killed the tiger. Things are about to hit rock bottom in his last year of high school but Buddha arrives and changes everything. Johnny now has his Ancient Quest....Let it begin.
